To comply with NCAA, Big Ten, and The Ohio State Athletic Department compliance requirements, The Agonis Club of Columbus Ohio, Inc. has removed all references to supporting The Ohio State University Athletic Department. The Agonis Club will only support deserving high school athletes as the club has done historically. To allow continued support for Ohio State Athletes, the Board of Directors has registered a new non-profit club entitled The Sportsmanship Club of Columbus Ohio, Inc. with the State of Ohio Secretary of State. Members of The Agonis Club will automatically be members of The Sportsmanship Club unless the member opts out by contacting the Secretary of The Agonis Club to do so. There will not be an increase in membership dues for members that choose to be members of The Sportsmanship Club. The Sportsmanship Club will continue to conduct meetings and events that support The Ohio State University Athletes as was done under the sponsorship of The Agonis Club historically. Additional discussion of this change will be provided upon request to the Board of Directors of The Agonis Club by contacting the board.
